CCNC-SJ and ACENet Announce Partnership to Advance Racial Equity in Education, Supported by Government of Canada
Toronto, ON – The Chinese Canadian National Council for Social Justice (CCNC-SJ) and the Asian Canadian Educators Network (ACENet) are pleased to announce a new partnership to advance racial equity and inclusion in education, made possible through funding from the Government of Canada’s Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Program.
This initiative aligns with Canada’s 2024-2028 Anti-Racism Strategy, reinforcing a national commitment to addressing systemic barriers and promoting inclusive policies. With financial support from this grant, ACENet will lead critical projects, including leadership workshops, advocacy efforts, and a comprehensive research report examining the impact of racism on Asian Canadian educators.

As part of this collaboration, ACENet and CCNC-SJ will work closely with educators, policymakers, and equity-seeking communities to foster a more inclusive and just educational system. Through interactive workshops, leadership development sessions, and community engagement activities, the organizations are committed to strengthening advocacy, amplifying diverse voices, and ensuring that Canada’s classrooms reflect the values of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
